Thanksgiving Memories
Quick Writes:

Oh the smell of the food is tingling my insides. I can feel my mouth watering just thinking of turkey and all the other goods. I can hear the sizzling of the turkey in the oven. Why do I have to wait so long? Finally all the food is ready after everyone is up we grasp hands and someone will say the blessing. (The year before it was me!) Now we dig in. All the children are done except for me, although I really wasn't I told my dad I was full. "Let me see!" he said stretching out his hand. I poked out my belly as far as it would go. "Alright." I said. "Ok go play." he said.

At Thanksgiving I can smell the turkey. While everyone comes in to eat I can also smell the great ham with dressing. I knew this was going to be a great thanksgiving. I could taste the soggy goodness of the turkey.

Last year at Thanksgiving I was with my uncle. We went to the book store and the music store. We had so much fun. Then we had to go home and eat. We ate turkey, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, pecan pie. It was so, so, so, so good.
